Carefully curated, sustainable and loved vintage jewelry, knick knacks and baubles for your home and person.
This rare WWII-era book chain necklace was crafted with authentic U.S. military insignia buttons repurposed as medallions. The design features the American eagle, caduceus (Army Medical Corps), and crossed flags with torch (Signal Corps), celebrating strength and service during the wartime era.
The book chain construction is a hallmark of 1930s–1940s jewelry, and the bold, jangling medallions make this a powerful statement piece of history and fashion combined.

A must-have for collectors of patriotic jewelry or U.S. military memorabilia, blending fashion and history in one unforgettable necklace.
Welcome and thank you for helping us re-home these amazing little pieces of art. With your help, we ensure that these pieces keep on going from generation to generation. Disclaimer: Please note that most vintage pieces will show some sign of wear. Here at Quirkish we like our vintage pieces to look…well..vintage. We love the look of aged patina. We do not, however, love dust and gunk. With the exception of antique pieces, we give each piece a gentle bath with a light vinegar solution in our ultrasonic cleaner. If you’re purchasing a brass or silver piece, we can offer a professional polish for a $10 fee.
We sincerely hope you enjoy your trinkets and wear or display them in good health, love and prosperity.
All the Best,
Roxy
